Integrated Care & Special Programs

To better provide increased collaborative support for our clients and the medical community, Mind Springs Health has full-time therapists at St. Mary’s Family Practice and at the Marillac Clinic. These therapists are trained in integrated care models of treatment and provide brief, solution-focused behavioral intervention to patients. Further, therapists are readily able to easily consult with medical providers regarding mental/behavioral health issues.

Through a grant-funded partnership, Mind Springs Health and SD51 are undergoing efforts to decrease substance abuse and truancy in high school students. Mind Springs Health provides therapeutic support in terms of brief screening, supportive counseling, parent training, and participation in “Saturday School” – an opportunity to assist students with positive decision making and pro-social choices through experiential activities.

This generalist program provides doctoral-level interns with a full-year, 2000 hour internship in community mental health. Psychology Interns conduct individual, family, and group therapy, provide diagnostic evaluations, conduct psychology testing, complete a one-day per week rotation in integrated care and conduct a full-year research project. This year we have four doctoral-level interns.

Financial support is available to qualifying families (CHP+ or uninsured) with children aged 0-6 seeking mental health treatment. Also, trainings in early childhood issues and observation/consultation with day cares/preschools can be arranged.

We are dedicated to helping women overcome barriers to recovery and healing, and finding the tools they need to achieve positive change.

The Women’s Recovery Center is a 90-day intensive drug and alcohol and transitional living program specializing in holistic recovery.  It is the only ‘for women-only’ program on the western slope and one of few in Colorado where women may have their children with them during the residential treatment.

We identify chemical dependency as a medical disease and our comprehensive approach addresses all aspects of the disease.  Physical and mental health, emotional wellbeing, spiritual growth and social needs are all part of the program’s focus.

Children ages 0-10 with no behavioral issues are eligible to stay with their mother.

Our caring professionals utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices.  The intensive and highly-structured program employs a variety of treatment approaches including Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and the Matrix Model for methamphetamine addiction.

As appropriate, spouses, partners, other children and/or family members are encouraged to participate in the treatment process.

Women must meet the goals of their personal treatment plan to graduate, and may graduate early if appropriate or are offered additional time in the program if needed.  Graduates of The Women’s Recovery Center are connected to other resources and health programs to promote continued recovery.  We celebrate the joy and freedom gained by those who succeed and become productive and successful members of the community.

90-Day Program Cost – $13,500

VISA and MasterCard accepted.  Some insurances accepted, our Admissions Coordinator will work with you to see if you are covered.  Mesa County residents eligible for scholarships.

Private Rooms available, preference given to women with accompanying children.
