Salary: Salary dependent upon experience. Plus Cost of Living Allowance.
Provides clinical assessment/problem identification, crisis intervention, individual, family and group therapy and case management. Develops and monitors treatment plans and progress, documents significant interactions, and maintains clinical charts and other reporting data. Works with a diverse client population in a variety of treatment approaches and/or settings. Provides clinical supervision as needed.
The Clinician III Co-Responder is employed by Mind Springs Health and works with the PACT (Pitkin Area Co-responder Teams) program. The purpose of the PACT program is to support law enforcement on mental health calls for service and, when possible, divert individuals with behavioral health disorders or symptoms from involvement in the criminal justice system, engaging them in treatment and/or social services instead.
This position partners closely with law enforcement officers and deputies to provide on scene mobile response, intervention, evaluation and disposition to individuals with behavioral health disorders or symptoms. Will also collaborate with a PACT Case Manager and Peer Specialist.
• Master’s degree in human services or related field required; • Two (2) years post-graduate experience in human services related field and bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. • Licensed in the State of Colorado required. • Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) designation or currently pursing designation, depending upon program and as needed.
