Commitment to Patients and Community:
Without West Springs Hospital, adults, teens and children on the Western Slope would be left without immediate and close access to emergency psychiatric treatment while they are experiencing a mental or behavioral healthcare crisis. West Springs Hospital has psychiatric providers available 24 hours a day. While we cannot mention any individual cases due to patient privacy laws, the psychiatric emergency department has saved many lives from an imminent threat of self-harm and suicide, including the lives of dozens of children in an emergent mental health crisis.
