West Slope CASA

Partnering to Service Crisis in our Community

Those faced with a Crisis need immediate and expert support to recover efficiently and continue to engage in our community. At Mind Springs Health, we’re a proud partner of West Slope Casa, supported by Colorado Crisis Services. Together with The Center for Mental Health and Axis Health System, we work to provide immediate and comprehensive Mobile Crisis Response, Respite Services and Crisis Stabilization Units.

Crisis Line

1-844-493-TALK (8255) is a 24/7/365 support line for anyone affected by a mental health, substance use or emotional crisis. Free and confidential, all calls are connected to a mental health professional who can help you manage an emergency situation, provide immediate support, and connections to further resources. We maintain direct relationships with local resources, offer translation services for non-English speakers, engage in immediate problem solving, and make follow-up calls to ensure continued care.

Walk-in Centers & Stabilization Units

Our walk-in centers are open 24/7/365, and offer confidential, in-person crisis support, information and referrals to anyone in need. If you need in-person assistance or are helping others with a crisis you can always go to a walk-in center near you. Some locations provide crisis beds for 1-5 days, for either voluntary or involuntary treatment.

Mobile Care

Crisis Line therapists may send out a mental health professional to provide support for those in need of face-to-face help, but who are unable to reasonably reach a walk-in center.
Call 1-844-493-TALK (8255) to learn more about how to access this service.

Respite Care

Respite care can be initiated by a Mobile Response Clinician after an in-person meeting. Those needing safe, peer-managed stabilization and support can stay voluntarily for 1-14 days to get the help they need.

Managed Service Organization

As the designated Managed Service Organization (MSO) for Colorado’s Western Slope, West Slope Casa has a long history of improving the lives of those affected by alcohol and drug abuse in Western Colorado.
