An intensive, healing, women-only residential rehabilitation program and Colorado’s only center where women and their children can stay together during addiction treatment.

A New Place to Recover and Rebuild

Based out of Grand Junction, Colorado, The Women’s Recovery Center is an intensive drug and alcohol and transitional living program specializing in holistic recovery.

We are dedicated to helping women overcome barriers to recovery and healing, and finding the tools they need to achieve positive change.

Each resident has a personal addiction counselor for one-on-one therapy and guidance. Daily schedules are highly-structured and focus upon personal responsibility and empowerment as well as the dynamics of addiction, relapse and recovery.

  • Light Therapy
  • Horticultural/Gardening Therapy
  • Art Therapy
  • 3-D Virtual Therapy
  • Indoor Exercise Therapy – yoga, stretching, weight training & more
  • Outdoor Exercise Therapy – Including a half mile walking & meditation path
  • Both private and semi-private bedrooms are available. For mothers and children, family bedrooms and a well-stocked playroom allow for personal family space and fun time.

Wellness-Inspired Treatment

Chemical dependency is a medical disease that needs a comprehensive approach to address all aspects of the disease. Physical and mental health, emotional well being, spiritual growth and social needs are all part of the program’s focus.  This intensive and highly-structured program employs a variety of treatment approaches including Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and the Matrix Model for methamphetamine addiction.

When appropriate, spouses, partners, other children and/or family members are encouraged to participate in the treatment process.

  • 3.5 intensive inpatient care for 16 female beds
  • 3.1 transitional housing care
  • Women with children are welcome. Spacious family bedrooms and a well-stocked playroom allow for personal space and family time

  • Psych referrals
  • Motivational Enhancement Therapy
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Intensive Case Management

VISA and MasterCard accepted. Some private insurances are accepted, and our Admissions Coordinator will work with you to see if you are covered. Mesa County residents are eligible for scholarships.

Graduate to Continued Success

Women must meet the goals of their personal treatment plan to graduate, and may graduate early if appropriate or are offered additional time in the program if needed. Graduates of The Women’s Recovery Center are connected to other resources and health programs to promote continued recovery.
